I think I’m going to use this blog to work some things through on paper that I’ve been wondering/reading/engaging with people on. The act of writing this blog is a turn, both specular and speculatory, or in other words, writing as the instantiation of tilting the mirror to thought and contemplation/meditation [mediation?].
What generally deters me from writing a blog is the sheer excess of pontification/navel-gazing/poor diaries or poor/autopilot “thinking” that blogs are guilty of. I suppose one cannot help but add to that but whichever entries end up being public will be read by friends.
It is also difficult to imagine anĀ interlocutor when I’m not writing papers, emails or having a real-life conversation with someone. It’s a conceit/law that I find difficult to work with. But I will try.
